We are tested this kit in many different cars and setups like 1.6 turbo nb, controlled by piggyback, and stock 1.8 vvt for few months and few thousand miles, both owners said that throttle response is noticeable better, in 1.6 turbo that solved problem with misfires.
Kit was also dynoed, and does 2hp up top, but difference is small so its hard to tell that this 2hp gain is reliable.
